The Oklahoma City Thunder will be at home on Tuesday night as they face off against the Los Angeles Lakers for the second time in three days.
Of course, the Lakers bested the Thunder in Sunday’s game 126-99 as Los Angeles continues to fight their way up the Western Conference standings with the playoffs just a week away.
The Thunder will look to bounce back on Tuesday after Sunday’s loss and they may face an extremely shorthanded Lakers squad.
Ahead of Tuesday’s game, the Lakers have announced that both LeBron James and Luke Doncic are listed as questionable for Tuesday’s game in Oklahoma City.
James is listed as questionable due to a left groin strain while Doncic is listed as questionable with a right groin strain.

Not only have the Lakers listed their two superstars as questionable, but they have also listed Austin Reaves, Dorian Finney-Smith and Gabe Vincent as questionable as well while also ruling out Rui Hachimura.
Of course, Tuesday’s game in Oklahoma City is the first night of a back-to-back for the Lakers, so they could end up holding out most of their key players to rest them for Wednesday’s contest against the Dallas Mavericks.
Despite this, the Lakers are still in a fight for the third seed in the West standings as they lead the Denver Nuggets by just one and a half games.
Because of this, Los Angeles cannot afford to lose many more games with the regular season ending on Sunday, so these injuries are massive for the Lakers’ potential seed in the West.
If James and Doncic, along with some other key players on their injury report, do end up facing the Thunder on Tuesday, expect the Lakers to possibly hold them out of Wednesday’s game in Dallas, depending on Tuesday’s result.
Either way, this is terrible news for the Lakers with much at stake during the final week of the regular season, but the Thunder should be able to bounce back easily if Los Angeles holds their stars out on Tuesday.
Fans can catch Tuesday’s matchup between the Lakers and Thunder at 8:00 p.m. EST.
