The 28-year-old suffered the injury while going up for a layup during the second quarter of Sunday's game. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported after Game 4 that Davis is considered day-to-day.
The eight-time All-Star played a significant role in L.A.'s Game 2 and 3 wins after notching just 13 points in Game 1. He tallied 34 points in back-to-back games before suffering the injury in Game 4.
With Davis sidelined, the Lakers lost Game 4 to the Suns 100-92. Considering he'll be out for Game 5, Phoenix has a solid opportunity to take a 3-2 series lead.
