PHOENIX — The Phoenix Suns, along with the rest of the league, are anxiously awaiting the NBA's full 2026-27 schedule reveal on Thursday.

REPORT: Suns Will Play Home Opener on Oct. 24

According to Arizona Sports' John Gambadoro, the Suns will play their home opener on Oct. 24 against a divisional rival:

"Have heard the Suns Home opener is going to be on Saturday October 24th. Will most likely be against a Divisions Rival - would not be surprised if it is the Golden State Warriors," he wrote on X.

Suns Reveal Ticket Packages for Lakers, Sixers

Ahead of the schedule reveal, the Suns are offering a unique ticket package that includes LeBron James' arrival to Phoenix.

From the team's official press release:

"The Phoenix Suns are giving fans a new way to experience the 2026-27 season with the introduction of Suns Select Packs, featuring three- and five-game options that let fans choose the matchups they want to see, including the only opportunity to purchase tickets to Suns home games against the Los Angeles Lakers and Philadelphia 76ers. Suns Select Packs will go on sale Thursday following the release of the 2026-27 regular season schedule.

"Fans can create a package that fits their schedule and preferences while saving up to 30% compared to single-game ticket prices. Every Select Pack also includes a $10 credit per ticket, per game to use on merchandise or concessions, including items from the Suns $2 Value Menu. Purchasing a Select Pack also opens presale access for postseason games.

"The five-game Select Pack comes with a bonus sixth game, the to-be-determined Suns home game in December based on NBA Cup Group Play results."

Suns Reveal NBA Cup Schedule

Phoenix unveiled their Group A NBA Cup slate early in the season:

  • Friday, Oct. 30: HOME vs Denver Nuggets
  • Friday, Nov. 20: AT Utah Jazz
  • Wed, Nov. 25: AT Houston Rockets
  • Friday, Nov. 27: HOME vs Dallas Mavericks

Suns Won't Play on Christmas Day

The NBA revealed its Christmas Day schedule, and for the second straight year, the Suns will not be participants.

NBA Christmas Day Schedule:

  • San Antonio Spurs @ New York Knicks
  • Miami Heat @ Boston Celtics
  • Philadelphia 76ers @ Los Angeles Lakers
  • Oklahoma City Thunder @ Minnesota Timberwolves
  • Denver Nuggets @ Golden State Warriors

Suns Not On Opening Night Slate

Phoenix will not be highlighted for the NBA's opening night of games, which includes:

  • New York Knicks vs Philadelphia 76ers
  • Detroit Pistons vs Boston Celtics
  • Oklahoma City Thunder vs San Antonio Spurs

The NBA is trying something new with the first game (Boston vs Detroit) beginning at 3:00 PM EST, an unusually early start.

Suns Will Face Lakers On Nov. 15

The Suns will play host to Luka Doncic and the Los Angeles Lakers on Nov. 15 according to The Arizona Republic's Duane Rankin.

Suns Will Play Warriors on Nov. 2

According to The Arizona Republic's Duane Rankin, the Suns host Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors on Nov. 2.
