With James turning 40 this December, he has the chance to tie Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki as the oldest players to be named All-Stars in NBA history.

What makes this achievement even more impressive is the fact that Nowitzki and Wade were selected as All-Stars in their final NBA seasons as a ceremonial gesture, rather than for their performance that year, as both players were calling time on their respective careers at the end of the season.
