LeBron James Sends Cryptic Tweet Amid Kyrie Irving Lakers Rumors
USA TODAY Sports

While it could be completely unrelated, a calculated troll job, or an indication that something is brewing, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James sent out a cryptic Tweet amid the Kyrie Irving drama on Friday afternoon:

As expected, fans are already speculating that James is referring to the news that Kyrie Irving, his former teammate, has requested a trade from the Brooklyn Nets. LeBron's replies are filled with pictures of the two stars together from their time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but as previously mentioned, there is a good chance the Tweet is completely unrelated.

Likely just two or three games away from becoming the NBA's all-time leading scorer, James could also be making this Tweet in reference to the historic milestone he is now on the doorstep of. Nobody truly knows what James meant with this Tweet, but any eyeball emoji Tweets during this time of year, especially so soon after Irving requests a trade, are going to be met with speculation.

The Lakers have been once again linked to Irving as a likely suitor for the All-Star point guard, as they were in the summer when many felt he could be traded then. Managing the balance between maximizing LeBron's last few years while also positioning for the future, the Lakers have a unique scenario on their hands.

For now, fans are speculating what James meant with this cryptic Tweet.
