LeBron James' Status vs. LA Clippers Revealed

The Los Angeles Lakers and LA Clippers are set to play their second matchup of the season on Sunday night. Both teams have released their injury reports for this game, and the Lakers are listing LeBron James as questionable due to Left Ankle Peroneal Tendinopathy.

James has been listed on the injury report with this same injury designation for several games, and usually ends up playing, so his questionable listings often feel more probable than anything else. That said, this is the official word from the Lakers as of right now, so the status of James will be one to follow up until game time.

The Lakers are in a bad spot right now, having dropped four-straight games to fall out of the play-in picture. Each loss seemingly puts them closer to major change, whether that be via trades or other organizational moves. 

Always wanting to remain competitive in this window with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers are not content with their current place in the standings. While there is a lot of season left, the Western Conference is very competitive, so there will certainly be at least one or two teams that miss the play-in entirely who expected to be firmly in the playoff mix.

The Clippers and Lakers will begin at 6:30 PM PST in Los Angeles on Sunday.
