We built our Monday Look of the Day around Joel Embiid playing for the Philadelphia 76ers, but his knee injury is evidently more serious than we thought. Let's take a more cautious approach with our favorite NBA prop bet for Tuesday night's slate.
There's no team Jaylen Brown loves playing against more than the Indiana Pacers. The Boston Celtics shooting guard is averaging 29.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game against Indiana this season, which are both well above his season averages. He's cleared this points + rebounds line in five of his last six games against the Pacers.
The Pacers give up the sixth-most points to opposing shooting guards, and they're susceptible to giving up monster statistical performances because of how fast they play. Indiana ranks second in the NBA in pace and 28th in points allowed per game.
Additionally, Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford are on the injury report and may not play Tuesday night. That will only help our case, as Brown will be expected to pick up the slack in the scoring department and on the glass.
