Los Angeles Clippers: James Harden Explains Hilarious Troll Move on Kawhi Leonard
Jaime Valdez-USA TODAY Sports

After a pair of disappointing stints with the Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers, James Harden is finally having fun playing for the Los Angeles Clippers. This can be seen in a hilarious troll move he pulled off on teammate Kawhi Leonard recently.

During a game between the Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers at the Moda Center in Oregon, the former handled business by getting the 116-103 win against the latter. In that contest, Paul George led his team by dropping 27 points and six rebounds, while Kawhi Leonard added 24 points and four rebounds. For his part, Harden dropped 19 points and 14 assists.

The Trail Blazers, on the other hand, were led by Scoot Henderson and Kris Murray, who had 18 and 17 points, respectively. Anfernee Simons added 14 points and four rebounds in Portland’s loss to the Clippers.

The win helped the Clippers secure its hold on the fourth spot, especially after the New Orleans Pelicans have been surging recently. Portland is still in 14th place in the Western Conference with a record of 19 wins and 50 losses.

At some point in the third quarter, Harden brought the ball up and drove up near to the rim. At the last second, the Beard passed to Leonard at the corner and attempted to shoot a three-pointer.

In a move that caught everybody by surprise, Harden tried to block his teammate’s shot. The All-Star guard explained more in a video posted by Ohm Youngmisuk on X:

While Harden’s move on Leonard can be seen as a way to lighten the Clippers’ mood, the same can’t be said for Portland and its players. Nevertheless, Los Angeles’ win justifies what he did during that game.

At this point in time, the Clippers are fighting to get a higher seed in the Western Conference. By the time the postseason starts, Harden’s troll moves won’t have a room anymore in Los Angeles’ championship pursuits.
