Looney, a three-time NBA Champion, last played for the New Orleans Pelicans appearing in 21 games as a reserve role. However the other 10 seasons of Looney’s career were played with the Golden State Warriors where he proved to be an elite rebounder and pick and roll player alongside Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant.
Through his career Looney has averaged 4.9 points and 5.7 rebounds on 57% shooting from the field.
He will look to continue to be a good backup option behind new Lakers center Walker Kessler who the team acquired from the Utah Jazz.
