Add another layer to what’s shaping up as a busy offseason for the Magic.
With Jamahl Mosley already out and real questions about roster balance, guard Jalen Suggs is being viewed as a potential trade candidate, according to Josh Robbins of The Athletic.
That doesn’t mean he’s gone. It does mean everything is being looked at.
Suggs has been a tone-setter defensively and one of the team’s edge guys, but Orlando still needs more offensive organization, more consistency, and frankly a cleaner long-term cap outlook. Those things don’t always line up neatly with keeping every good player.

This front office just moved on from its coach. It’s not a stretch to think roster tweaks are coming too.
And if you’re trying to reshape how the team functions late in games, which has clearly been an issue, you at least have to consider all your options.
Suggs may stay. He may not. But the fact his name is out there tells you where this is headed.
