Free agent center Colin Castleton is back under contract with the Magic on a new two-way deal, according to the official transaction log at NBA.com.
Castleton, 26, signed a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract for training camp last August, then had that deal converted to a two-way contract by Orlando at the end of the preseason. Although he spent all of 2025/26 on that two-way deal, the 6’10” big man appeared in just four games at the NBA level, seeing far more action for the Osceola Magic in the G League. He averaged 18.5 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 1.3 blocks in 32.0 minutes for game across 23 NBAGL outings.
Prior to 2025/26, Castleton made 42 regular season appearances over the course of two seasons for the Lakers, Grizzlies, Raptors, and Sixers. He’s entering his final year of two-way eligibility.
The Magic issued Castleton a two-way qualifying offer earlier in the week to make him a restricted free agent, so it’s safe to assume he simply accepted that offer. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll spend all of 2026/27 with the team or even that he’ll be on the opening night roster, but for now it looks like he’ll slot in as Orlando’s fourth center behind Wendell Carter Jr., Goga Bitadze, and Nikola Vucevic.
If Castleton has his two-way salary guaranteed later in the league year, he would earn $678,882. Alex Morales is also on a two-way contract with the Magic, who currently have one open slot.
