The Orlando Magic have become a team to watch in the NBA's Eastern Conference because of the presence of star players including Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero.

Banchero, selected first in the 2022 NBA Draft out of Duke, lived up to his considerable hype this year as he averaged just under 26 points per game along with 7.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.

The Magic power forward has the flexibility to play center and to swing out to the perimeter from time-to-time.

On Saturday, Banchero couldn't contain his laughter on social media as he revealed a forgotten truth that many fans did not know.

"And ESPN had me ranked 4th in my class," Banchero said with three laughing sideways emoji faces on Saturday.

The former Blue Devil retweeted a video of high school highlights from his days at O'Dea High School in Seattle, Washington.

Fans were quick to respond on X.

"You were second on 247 to be fair," one fan said.

"The most disrespected superstar of all-time," another person added.

"Win Orlando a title and they'll be forced to respect you," another fan stated.

The Magic finished seventh in the Eastern Conference this season with a 41-41 record before bowing out against the 2024-25 Boston Celtics in the playoffs.

Orlando finished the season with seven wins in their last 10 games, ending on a positive note heading into what will be a crucial offseason.

Banchero is doing his part.

Next season, the Magic need more players to step up in hopes of making their first NBA Finals since 2009, when they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in five games.
