Marcus Morris Sr. has been arrested on a felony fraud charge. This is according to online jail records.

Morris Sr. hasn’t played in the NBA since the 2023-24 season where he only appeared in 49 games. He last played for the Cleveland Cavaliers before being waived in September 2024, after signing with the New York Knicks.

The exact reason for the charge is being reported as casino debt. According to Morris Sr.’s agent, Yony Noy, it isn’t a fraud charge at all, just unpaid debt to the casino that is valued over $1,200.

As of this morning, Morris Sr. was being held at the Broward County Main Jail as he awaits extradition.
