Dallas Mavericks fans, maybe all that struggle to start the season was worth it!
It’s safe to say that the Dallas Mavericks have had a rough go of it this season. The arrival of Cooper Flagg didn’t prove enough when it came to winning.
Things have been difficult for the Mavericks. But they seem to be slowly turning it around. And after seeing Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis in practice, fans have reason to believe they have a chance.
As Kyrie Irving continues his recovery from a torn ACL, he has ramped up his preparations, now doing some light court work with his teammates.
One of these sessions was captured and made its way to social media. Fans got to see Kyrie Irving set up Anthony Davis for spot-up jump shots, with the latter making several of his shots from beyond the arc.
Fans on social media were thrilled to see the All-Star pairing work so well together. One fan wrote, “His shooting over the last few games is real.”
Another fan added, “Gotta see them on the court together!”
A third fan desperately asked, “Genuinely, when are you coming back, Kyrie Irving?”
While a fourth fan wondered about the legitimacy of Davis’ health, asking, “Yeah, no shot, was he ever really hurt?”
And lastly, a fifth fan clamored to see the pair on the court together, noting, “I wanna see them on court.”

There’s no denying that the Dallas Mavericks have missed Kyrie Irving since he’s been out with an injury over the last 10 months.
Irving is a sensational combo guard who can both score and playmake at an elite level. And without him, the Mavericks haven’t been able to do much on the offensive end.
When Irving returns, he could either become the starting point guard or take over the two-guard role he occupied with Luka Doncic, to allow rookie Ryan Nembhard to play alongside him.
Irving’s return will benefit Anthony Davis and Cooper Flagg the most, as they will get great looks from all parts of the court.
And perhaps the Mavericks can go on some sort of winning run once Irving returns, undoing the damage of the Mavericks’ start to the season.
