The Dallas Mavericks needed just one pick in the 2025 NBA Draft - the first one - to walk away as winners of the week.
But after two major signings, the Mavs added to their already phenomenal rookie class.
Sources confirm to ESPN that the Mavericks have signed Gonzaga point guard Ryan Nembhard and Auburn combo guard Miles Kelly to two-way undrafted free agent contracts.
Gonzaga's Ryan Nembhard has agreed to a two-way contract with the Dallas Mavericks, a source told ESPN.

Nembhard is a massive addition, as he was college basketball's most prolific facilitator last season. The younger brother of Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard led the NCAA in assists with 9.8 per game for the Bulldogs. He added 10.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game on 44.6 percent shooting from the field and an impressive 40 percent clip from deep.
Amid superstar Kyrie Irving's recovery from ACL surgery, this find is exactly what the roster is missing - a pass-first floor general who can create opportunities for his teammates. Nembhard won't be an immediate addition to the NBA roster, but on a two-way deal, similar to that of shifty guard Brandon Williams last season, he'll spend plenty of time in the G League to develop his game.
More immediately, Nembhard can build chemistry with prized No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg on the Mavs' Summer League roster.
At 6-0 167 pounds, Nembhard is an undersized guard, but on a Mavs roster that is filled with size and versatility in the front court and wings, he could still find minutes without being too much of a compromise defensively. That is the case especially if Flagg or PJ Washington play as an oversized shooting guard at times.
Kelly is a 6-4 170-pound sharpshooter who got his shot off with ease last season in the SEC with the Tigers. He averaged over 11 points per game on nearly 38 percent shooting from behind the three-point arc (6.1 attempts per game).
A proven winner, Kelly was a starter in 36 of Auburn's 38 games, in which Bruce Pearl's squad finished last season 32-6.
Dallas has one two-way undrafted contracts remaining following these moves, but they are likely to wait until after Summer League play is over and free agency commences. Until then, they will examine the current pieces and watch how they compete in Las Vegas next week.
The Mavericks' first Summer League game is scheduled for July 10 against Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.
The league's free agency period begins with the negotiating window opening at 6 p.m. ET on June 30, where reports say the Mavs are expected to be active in their search for a stop-gap point guard that could fill in for Irving as a starter.
