Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson Make Romance Official on the Red Carpet

Dallas Mavericks sharpshooting wing and hip-hop superstar Megan Thee Stallion are officially official.

After teasing fans over the past couple of weeks on social media with subtle hints about their romance, the four-time NBA champion and Grammy Award–winning rapper—born Megan Pete—hit the red carpet together in New York on Wednesday night.

The two were attending Pete’s inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala at Gotham Hall.

“I have never dated somebody so kind,” Pete told PageSix on the red carpet. “This is my first relationship where I've ever been with somebody who's genuinely a nice person, and he makes me genuinely happy. ...

"I just never dated somebody like him before and I'm just grateful that he's here by my side and he feels the same way about me."

The new couple walked hand-in-hand on the carpet and smiled ear to ear as they posed for pictures together in front of the step-and-repeat.

Pete established the foundation to honor her late parents, Joseph Pete III and Holly Thomas, and to continue the lasting legacies they left behind.

“I feel like I’m carrying on a good legacy of my family name. I know [my parents are] looking down on me super proud,” Pete said.

Pete’s first ever benefit gala raised funds for programs focused on education, housing, and health and wellness.

Thompson, known for his calm demeanor and clutch shooting, looked right at home beside the rapper, offering quiet support as she stepped into a new chapter.

With their relationship now public and the Pete & Thomas Foundation thriving, Pete and Thompson are proving to be a powerful pair—on and off the court.
