The Miami Heat have no interest in trading Bam Adebayo, according to NBA insider Zach Lowe.

Teams have attempted to trade for Adebayo, with the Heat rejecting those calls.

The Heat are interested in trading for Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. The goal is to pair Antetokounmpo with Adebayo.

Antetokounmpo and Adebayo have the same agent, Alex Saratsis of Octagon.

One of the top two-way players in the NBA, Adebayo is averaging 17.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks per game this season while shooting 46.2% from the field, 32.1% from beyond the arc and 76.7% from the free-throw line.

The Heat are 19-15. They are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Adebayo has spent his entire NBA career with the Heat. He holds career averages of 15.8 points, 8.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.9 blocks per game.

Miami has appeared in the NBA Finals twice (2020, 2023) during the Adebayo era. The Heat lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2020 NBA Finals and fell to the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 NBA Finals.

Jimmy Butler requested a trade from the Heat last season and was traded to the Golden State Warriors. Hall of Famer Pat Riley is trying to acquire another elite talent, with Antetokounmpo at the top of his list.

The Bucks will only trade Antetokounmpo if he requests a trade. The future Hall of Famer wanted to be traded to the New York Knicks this past offseason, but Milwaukee and New York couldn’t agree to a deal.

It will be fascinating to see if Antetokounmpo requests a trade from the Bucks. The belief is that the two-time MVP would be interested in playing with Adebayo on the Heat.
