Jeffrey Michael Jordan, the eldest son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, reminisced about one of his father’s punishments with Horace Grant Jr., the son of former Bulls forward Horace Grant Sr.

Jeffrey Jordan sat down for an interview with Grant Jr. during a recent episode of his “Hoops to Homes” podcast. They looked back at their childhood experiences since they both are the sons of former NBA All-Stars.

Grant Jr. said there was one time when they came back from college early and played it off as if they were sick because they thought they could get away with it since their mothers were out of town.

“You remember that time we faked being sick so we could come home, and your dad came and picked us up,” said Grant Jr., to which Jeffrey Jordan replied, “My dad knew immediately and said you guys want to stay home. I got some work for you guys to do.”

“He made us clean every car in his garage.”

Grant Jr. recalled that the former Bulls guard had 37 cars in total.

“It was funny, and we thought we would get a free day,” Jeffrey Jordan added. “But no, we had a bucket, washcloth and cleaned his Ferrari.”

Jeffrey Jordan also looked back at his high school basketball career, during which he faced off against future NBA veteran Jeff Teague. He said Teague was one of the hardest players he had to defend because he hadn’t known much about him before they played.

Jeffrey Jordan went on to play in college for the UCF Knights and Illinois Fighting Illini.
