Michael Jordan's daughter used Google to find out why her dad was so famous

Michael Jordan is one of the greatest basketball players of all time, but his daughter Jasmine didn't necessarily know that when she was younger.

Jordan's daughter has been learning more about her father's historic basketball career by watching "The Last Dance" documentary on ESPN, and she even admitted that when she was younger she Googled him to find out why he was so famous.

“When I was a child, and growing up during the time, I didn't really understand what was happening because I was so young, and it just didn't really resonate with me until I got older,” Jasmine said, according to Sports Illustrated's Dan Gartland. “I laugh because I actually Googled my dad at one point just to figure it out. I was like, why is everyone so intrigued by you, you're just dad, you're not that cool. But lo and behold, he was kind of a big deal. So it's definitely been something that's been eye-opening.”

Jasmine was born in 1992 and was just 10 years old when her father played his final NBA game. At that age, you can't fully comprehend what your parents do for a living, so it's understandable that she Googled him at the time.

Jordan is a Hall of Famer, 14-time All-Star, six-time NBA champion and five-time MVP, among other various accolades achieved. In 15 seasons he averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game while shooting 49.7% from the field and 32.7% from beyond the arc.

While some see LeBron James or Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the greatest of all time, no one will ever compare to Jordan.
