Since their 2021 NBA Championship run, the Milwaukee Bucks have failed to find similar success in the league.

During the 2021 NBA Championship run, Giannis Antetokounmpo was surrounded by stars who complemented his game.

However, since then, the Milwaukee Bucks have failed to construct a similar roster for the Greek Freak. That’s evident from the Bucks’ three consecutive first-round exits in the last three seasons.

With Giannis not getting any younger, the Bucks’ championship window is shrinking at an alarming rate. Keeping that in mind, the franchise has made some pretty significant changes to its roster.

Biggest additions to the Milwaukee Bucks’ roster

If we combine the Bucks’ re-signings and new players this summer, the organization has made a total of 12 additions to the roster for head coach Doc Rivers to deal with.

However, the most talked-about addition is of Myles Turner. Turner agreed to a four-year, $108.9 million deal with the Bucks, albeit after making it to the 2024 NBA Finals with the Indiana Pacers.

Another significant addition is Thanasis Antetokounmpo, as the move has reportedly convinced Giannis to stay with the Bucks.

With that said, here are all 12 additions that the Bucks have made to their roster ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season.

The Bucks’ plan for the 2025-26 season seemed to get as many players back as possible from the previous season.

But considering the team’s performance over the last three seasons, it will be interesting to see if this bold decision pays off for them or not.

There’s no bigger exit for the Bucks than that of Damian Lillard this summer. Lillard was waived by the Bucks as he recovers from a torn Achilles tendon injury.

The move shocked the NBA community as the Bucks engaged in a very expensive trade to bring Dame to the team in 2023.

Aside from Lillard, here are some familiar faces who will no longer be members of the Bucks for the 2025-26 season.

Not only did Lillard get waived by the Bucks, but he also joined his former team, the Portland Trail Blazers, making the organization a loser in the 2023 trade.
