The Golden State Warriors lost to the Sacramento Kings on Friday, with Steph Curry struggling significantly, as he scored just 11 points on 3-of-8 shooting.

Brandin Podziemski had 30 points for the Dubs, but he was the only Warrior to score more than 20. On the other hand, four Kings players recorded more than 20 points, led by guard Devin Carter who had 29.

Center Maxime Raynaud had 23 points, nine rebounds and four assists for Sacramento, who secured a 124-118 victory.

The Warriors led by as many as 11 points early in the fourth quarter, but the Kings went on a 15-3 run after that to turn things around. It didn't help the Dubs that they were only able to score five points in the final two minutes of play, compared to Sacramento's 11 during the same span.

However, the closing stages of the game were not without issues. According to the NBA's Last Two Minute Report, there was a missed call against the Warriors that benefited the Kings.

With 1:29 remaining on the clock, Warriors forward Gui Santos attacked the basket on a fast break following a Malevy Leons steal. Unfortunately, Santos missed his layup, with the Kings eventually getting the rebound.

However, the NBA stated that Raynaud fouled Santos on the play, which should have given the Warriors two free throws. The NBA stated it was an incorrect non-call.

"Raynaud (SAC) initiates contact with Santos' (GSW) arm, which affects his layup attempt," the NBA explained.

The Kings were just leading by two points, 116-114, at the time. That said, the officiating error was certainly costly. The Warriors could have had the chance to tie the game.

Making matters worse, the Warriors fouled right after Santos' miss, which gave the Kings two extra free throws that they made.

Golden State dropped to 37-44 on the season with the loss, marking its second straight defeat and sixth in its last 10 games.
