The Milwaukee Bucks will look very different this season. Out went Damian Lillard and Brook Lopez this offseason, and in came Myles Turner, Cole Anthony, Gary Harris, and Amir Coffey. Not to mention, Kyle Kuzma and Kevin Porter Jr. will get their first full season with the team.
After having Lillard, Lopez, and Khris Middleton on the team for a season and a half, Giannis Antetokounmpo is the Bucks' lone All-Star on the roster. Even if the Bucks don't have stars surrounding him, Antetokounmpo is still one of the best players in the NBA.
At 30 years old, Antetokounmpo has shown no signs of slowing down. Last season, he averaged 30.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists while shooting 60.1% from the field. Even while being dominant, Antetokounmpo put up those numbers while shooting more mid-range shots, as 15% of his shots came from 16 feet to within the three-point line.
With the Bucks' newly formed roster, NBA Champion Brian Scalabrine believes that they will do things a little differently with Antetokounmpo this coming season. During his appearance on Sirius XM Radio, Scalabrine believes the two-time MVP will be playing point guard this season.
"I'm really excited about watching Giannis this season," Scalabrine said. "...This dude is six-eleven. He's an absolute monster, and he's going to play point guard for the Bucks... the fact that Giannis is going to be their point guard and everybody else is going to stand outside and bomb threes and Giannis is going to create, if he can stay healthy, it might be a season like we've never seen before."

To be fair, the Bucks have tried this experiment before during the early days with Antetokounmpo. During the 2015-16 season, Antetokounmpo played 40% of his minutes at point guard (h/t Basketball-Reference), but the experiment was abandoned because the Bucks weren't getting results as they missed the postseason that year.
Of course, times were different then; the Bucks had Greg Monroe as their starting center, who did not fit nicely next to Antetokounmpo as a low-post scorer who clogged up the lane and brought very little defensively. This season, Turner will be their starting center, and he is not only one of the league's best shot blockers but also a well-known stretch big.
Many will be skeptical of the Bucks, and it's not hard to see why, but Scalabrine's outlook on Antetokounmpo as the point guard might be a saving grace for their playoff chances this season.
