The NBA Finals are over. Now comes the fun part.

Several key contract-option decisions are due before free agency officially opens, meaning some big names could be making important choices over the next couple of weeks.

As noted by Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the first significant deadlines arrive June 23, when Wizards guard Trae Young and Grizzlies wing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope must decide whether to exercise their player options for next season.

The Clippers then face a June 26 deadline on Bogdan Bogdanovic‘s $16 million team option.

After that, things really start to heat up.

Most player and team option decisions around the league are due by June 29, with names such as Zach LaVine, Andrew Wiggins, Draymond Green, Jonathan Kuminga, Austin Reaves, Brook Lopez, Al Horford and Isaiah Hartenstein among those with decisions looming.

Some of the choices will be easy. Others could shape the direction of free agency. Either way, the waiting game is almost over.
