The farewell tour hasn't been announced just yet, but Chris Paul has found a new home for the upcoming NBA season.

Paul is coming off a season with the San Antonio Spurs where he averaged 8.8 points per game. It's pretty evident that he's not the player he once was. During a recent discussion with Jemele Hill at the American Black Film Festival, he talked about his career coming to an end. He hinted that the 2025-26 season would be his last.

"I love to play basketball, but I love my kids and my family more. That is gonna weigh a huge part on my decision on what happens next year," Paul said.

Roughly two weeks later, ESPN's Shams Charania reported that Paul has agreed to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers.

"Twelve-time All-Star Chris Paul has agreed to a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, CAA's Steven Heumann, Ty Sullivan and Jessica Holtz told ESPN. Paul had multiple suitors, but chose the contending Clippers and their shared history in L.A. for his likely final, 21st NBA season," Charania wrote.

Chris Haynes is reporting that it's a $3.6 million contract for the future Hall of Famer.

This is a reunion for Paul and the Clippers. He was the face of the franchise from 2011-2017, averaging 18.8 points and 9.8 assists per game.

Paul also gets to reunite with All-Star guard James Harden. They had a ton of success together on the Houston Rockets.

The Clippers have been busy this offseason, acquiring John Collins in a trade and signing Bradley Beal to a two-year deal.

We'll see if Paul is the missing piece to the Clippers' championship puzzle.
