NBA icon Dwyane Wade has been keeping busy of late. Between his involvement as a part-owner of the Utah Jazz and showing up for good friend Carmelo Anthony’s Hall of Fame induction, Wade has had a lot on his plate.
Apart from his various ventures in and around the world of basketball, Wade also established ACE Members Only with former Miami Heat teammate Dorell Wright. ACE is an organization that aims to democratize the sport of golf by making it more welcoming and providing more opportunities for underrepresented youth.
On Thursday, the three-time NBA champion took to social media to announce some personal news. Wade revealed the details of the first-ever ACE golf tournament.

As indicated in the post, the inaugural ACE Cup will be held this weekend, from Friday to Sunday. The tournament will be played at the renowned Pebble Beach golf course, which has hosted numerous high-level tournaments on both the PGA and amateur circuits.
Wade, who also thanked social beverage company Cann in his post, expressed his excitement for the upcoming event. “I’ve been waiting on this one. LG!” he wrote.
While he’s no professional, Wade has made significant progress in his golf game since retiring from the NBA in 2019. In fact, the Hall of Fame guard made waves online in September 2023 when he shot his first-ever hole-in-one. Incidentally, he achieved this incredible feat at the par-3 seventh hole at Pebble Beach, which is probably why the legendary course holds a special place in his heart.
It is unclear if Wade will participate in the inaugural ACE Cup this weekend, but it is clear that he’s capable of holding his own against a competitive field.
