Luka Doncic remains one of the hottest names in the NBA right now. The Los Angeles Lakers star, who joined the team via trade last season, leads the league in scoring with 33.3 points on 46.4% shooting, along with 7.5 rebounds and 8.6 assists per game.
Through the first half of the 2025-26 NBA season, Doncic has powered the Lakers to a 25-16 record, placing them sixth in the Western Conference standings.
The Slovenian guard also secured an All-Star berth for the sixth time in his career. Doncic was named a starter after receiving the most votes in the All-Star voting with 3,402,967.
As if that's not enough to highlight Doncic's rising popularity, the NBA also announced on Tuesday that the Lakers scorer is among the leaders in jersey sales so far this campaign.
Doncic landed at No. 2 on the top-selling NBA jerseys list from the first half of the season, trailing only Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry. The ranking is based solely on sales from NBAStores.com.
Doncic is not the only Laker on the list. LeBron James, even at age 41, continues to be popular without showing signs of slowing down. The four-time NBA MVP ranked No. 5 after New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson and San Antonio Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama.
Anthony Edwards, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jayson Tatum, Nikola Jokic and Tyrese Maxey round out the top 10.

Considering that Doncic is the Lakers' best player and is currently an MVP candidate, it's not hard to see him potentially overtaking Curry in jersey sales by the end of the season.
