John Elway. Peyton Manning.
That is the exclusive company that Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix joined when he threw his third touchdown pass of the day against the Buffalo Bills in their dramatic Divisional Round victory. The final TD also gave the Broncos a (temporary) lead in the final minute of the fourth quarter, with Nix delivering a perfectly placed strike to Marvin Mims Jr. from 26 yards out.
Unfortunately for Nix and the Broncos, that will be his final performance of the season after suffering a broken ankle in overtime. Jarrett Stidham is in line to start the AFC Championship Game against a New England Patriots defense that intercepted C.J. Stroud four times.
Which brings us to today’s quiz. Nix’s performance was the first three-passing-touchdown game in the playoffs by a Bronco since Manning did it in the 2012-13 Divisional Round loss to Baltimore. With that being said, can you name the last quarterback with three passing touchdowns in a playoff game for each NFL team?
Good luck!
