Jazz

Utah has trimmed its roster, waiving Mo Bamba, Pedro Bradshaw, and Sean East II, the team announced.

All three were on non-guaranteed training camp deals and are likely to begin the season with the Salt Lake City Stars.

Each could earn up to $85,300 if they spend at least 60 days with the Jazz’s G League affiliate under Exhibit 10 terms.

Bamba, a 7-footer who once went sixth overall to Orlando in 2018, has now logged seven NBA seasons. He’s made stops with the Magic, Lakers, Sixers, and Clippers, and most recently signed a 10-day contract with New Orleans last spring.

Bradshaw and East were late additions to the Jazz camp after overseas stints — Bradshaw in Australia and Germany, East in Canada and Romania.

Utah now sits at the regular-season limit with 15 players on guaranteed deals and three on two-ways.

Pistons

Detroit has also completed its preseason roster cuts, waiving Charles Bediako, Dawson Garcia, and Brice Williams, per the league transaction log.

All three were brought in on non-guaranteed training camp contracts and are candidates to join the Motor City Cruise, where they could collect Exhibit 10 bonuses if they remain with the team for 60 days.

Bediako, a 7-footer out of Alabama, averaged 9.9 points and 8.6 rebounds last year in the G League.

Garcia, a five-year college veteran from Minnesota, put up 19.2 points per game as a senior.

Williams, a 6-foot-3 guard from Nebraska, averaged 20.4 points and shot 37% from three last season.

Detroit’s standard roster now appears set for opening night.

Bucks

Milwaukee has officially waived Johnny Davis and Jeremiah Tilmon, per the NBA’s transaction log.

Davis, a Wisconsin native and former lottery pick, joined the Bucks this week on an Exhibit 10 deal. The 23-year-old spent last season in the G League with Westchester after brief stints with the Wizards and Grizzlies.

Tilmon, a 6-10 center out of Missouri, most recently played in China for the Shenzhen Leopards and is also expected to report to the Wisconsin Herd.

Both players are eligible for Exhibit 10 bonuses if they remain with the Herd for at least 60 days.
