NBA player props: Four best bets for Wednesday, Feb. 28

Sorry, missed you yesterday after a winning start to the week on Monday. Rookie shooter Gradey Dick is coming into his own for the Raptors so getting him at low totals like we did on Monday is going to be rare moving forward. Don't forget, he was a lottery pick. Now that Toronto has thinned out things on the wing he is finally getting a great opportunity to score though.

Tonight in the NBA we have six games on the schedule. That might not sound like a lot but it is definitely a League Pass night with multiple games to check out. My favorite is the Sacramento Kings at the Denver Nuggets: A duel between the most versatile players in the game — Domantas Sabonis and Nikola Jokic.

NBA Props for Wednesday, Feb. 28

Kyrie Irving and Immanuel Quickley Over 10.5 Combined Assists (+105)

Since coming to Toronto, IQ's numbers are up across the board. He is averaging close to six assists per game. Kyrie takes a back seat to Luka Doncic of course, but if you add his seasonal averages we are right there with this total. This game should have a good pace to it and Irving might have some more playmaking responsibilities in a no-rest situation.

Malik Monk Over 0.5 Steals (+105)

Monk is not known as a top defender. However, he has a couple of steals in two of the last three games and has bested this number in two of the three games in the season series too. When second units are on the Nuggets are not nearly as buttoned up and that should give Monk a chance to get his hands on some loose balls.

Brandon Ingram Over 23.5 Points (+130) Alt Line

Ingram's scoring is down a little this season. Nevertheless, his minutes are up this month, and against a team like Indiana — he should have plenty of shots to hit this mark. Since the All-Star break, he is up to 23 ppg from 21 ppg in the first half. Ingram should have a favorable matchup against Aaron Nesmith or Pascal Siakam for most of the night.

Ayo Dosunmu Over 13.5 Points (+110)

The athletic wing who played locally at Illinois is taking advantage of his opportunity this season. His minutes are actually the same, but he has become more aggressive and is shooting it better than he ever has. He has topped this total in four of his last six and his playing time is not as dependent on the team being totally in it.
