Yesterday was a nice and profitable 3-1 day (+30 units). Of course, the real goal is to go 4-0 and mash the books into oblivion, but I will take it as the pickings have been slim of late. It was primarily thanks to the big men with Domantas Sabonis and Victor Wembanyama coming through. However we were also right about Ayo in Chicago.
We have a short schedule tonight, headlined by the Lakers at the Celtics. Personally, I am more interested in seeing how the Pacers do at the Knicks.
Results to Date: 76-130, -242.3 Units (points for honesty, right?)
Ty Haliburton More Points than OG Anunoby (+154)
Pacers vs. Knicks 7:30 p.m. ET
This is a very interesting handicap, as the price we are getting is because Haliburton is supposed to be on a minutes restriction. I still think it is worth it as even though Anunoby has been of great value for the Knicks, he is not always a big scorer for them. Haliburton scored 13 points in just 22 minutes the other night and if he jumps that up into the high teens there is a great payoff opportunity.
Pascal Siakam Over 6.5 Rebounds (+105)
The return of Haliburton should have no negative effects on Siakam's production as a rebounder. Since coming to Indiana he has averaged more than seven rebounds per game, which is up from Toronto. The more Haliburton plays the more the game picks up speed, even against New York and that is good for his numbers, especially rebounding.
Evan Mobley Over 10.5 Points (+105)
Cavs vs. Grizzlies, 8 p.m. ET
Mobley is working his way back from injury. I have not seen news about a minutes restriction for him, but he is not quite back to seasonal averages. Tonight the Cavs are playing the Grizzlies though and that is a favorable matchup. At 10.5 points we are not even back to his pre-injury scoring levels. I worry more about a blowout but the Cavs played last night, which might slow things down a little, in a good way.
Collin Sexton More Points Than Tobias Harris (+160)
Sixers vs. Jazz, 10 p.m. ET
I have always liked Harris as a complimentary player but when you look at his numbers they don't necessarily spike when you think they should. That is why I am fading him here, sort of. Sexton can be an explosive scorer and as long as this is a game he should have the opportunity to score 20+ points and keep the pressure on Harris.
