NBA props for Wednesday, Feb. 14: On the comeback trail

Happy Valentine's Day! I don't know about you, but the sun is actually shining brightly where I am and a 4-0 record yesterday only makes it that much sweeter. We didn't even have to sweat any of those bets, either.

With the NBA All-Star Game approaching this weekend, tonight is the last night with a full NBA schedule for a little while. We have 13 games to choose from, including some good ones, Kings vs. Nuggets caught my eye.

Results to Date: 91-143, -179.7 Units (4-0 Yesterday so we made a big dent)

NBA Props for Wednesday, Feb. 14

Brandon Miller More Points than Dejounte Murray (+114)

The rookie has quickly become a pretty reliable scorer for Charlotte. He has been a little quieter over the last couple of games, but it is so encouraging that his efficiency in February is better than it has been all season. He has not faced the Hawks since the opener, when he was 5 for 9 in just 24 minutes. He outscored Murray in that game too.

Trae Young More Points than Miles Bridges (+100)

I was not expecting to double dip into this game similarly to the above, but I am not sure where the argument is that Young is not the favorite in this scoring matchup (Bridges is -130). Young is outscoring him by 6 ppg overall season, but it appears the markets are really leaning into recent back-to-back 40+ points games by Bridges earlier this month. Young has been over 30 points five times in his last 10 games.

Buddy Hield Over 3.5 Three Pointers (+105)

Hield is enjoying life with his new team and with Joel Embiid out for Philly, they need his offense. In three games with the 76ers, he is making 44% from deep and shooting good volume. He has made at least four three-pointers in each game and that is a streak I am willing to lean into. Miami is just in the middle of the pack in defending the three.

Franz Wagner Over 5.5 Rebounds (+110)

I was fading Wagner on points the other night (and won) but I like this number on his boards tonight. This is a strong payoff given it is right at season averages. Also, due to injury, the Knicks are playing smaller than intended these days. He has been over this total in half of his last 10 games and grabbed nine rebounds in his lone game against the Knicks this season.
