
The NBA has released its second-round playoff schedule. We just don’t know all the participants yet.
The league announced dates and times for the conference semifinals, noting all schedules remain subject to change. The Western Conference bracket is set. The Eastern Conference is not, with three first-round series heading to Game 7.
That includes Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday, which will determine the opponent for the New York Knicks. On the other side, it’s Detroit Pistons vs. Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Toronto Raptors, with both Game 7s set for Sunday.
Out West, things are locked in. It will be the No. 2 San Antonio Spurs against the No. 6 Minnesota Timberwolves, and the No. 1 Oklahoma City Thunder vs. the No. 4 Los Angeles Lakers.
Game 1 of Spurs-Timberwolves is scheduled for May 4 at 9:30 p.m. ET. Thunder-Lakers opens May 5 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
In the East, the Knicks will begin their series May 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET against either Boston or Philadelphia. The other semifinal tips May 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET, featuring the winner of Pistons-Magic against Cavaliers-Raptors.
Games five through seven in all series are listed as if necessary, with times and TV details still to be determined.
