It's an Eastern Conference affair tonight in the NBA, with three of the four playoff series from the East all hitting the hardwood.
We've got Game 2 of the Nets-Celtics and Bulls-Bucks, along with Game 3 between the Raptors and Sixers.
Here's one prop pick from each contest.
Jaylen Brown is a phenomenal player; there is no denying that. This isn't a fade of Brown as a player for this Celtics team but rather an appropriate response to what feels like a line set too high.
Brown hasn't crossed this threshold of points in four straight games and has gone over in just 10 of his past 30.
It's his history against the Nets that locks this in as an official play. Boston has faced Brooklyn five times now this season, and Brown is averaging 19.4 points per game in those games.
He hasn't gone over 23 points in any of those games. In fact, in 22 career games against the Nets, Brown has scored 27+ points only once, finishing at exactly that total.
This line just feels inflated, and for that reason we take the under.
We had Anunoby as a target on Monday, and he came through with a 26-point effort. At 17.5 points, we're going right back to him for another big game.
The reason for his target is threefold. Scottie Barnes is doubtful and not expected to play once again. In seven games without Barnes this season, Anunoby is averaging 26 points per game and has scored over 21 each time.
OG has also had Philadelphia's number this year, scoring 20+ points in all three games played.
A likely reason for that success is the cherry on top: The Sixers have struggled slowing down SF scoring. In fact, they rank dead last in points allowed per game to the position.
Philly's best wing defender Matisse Thybulle is also out tonight. He's ineligible to travel to Canada because he is not fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
There's a lot stacking up for another big game for Anunoby.
We'll finish with our friend, the three-point prop. No team has allowed more threes per game than the Milwaukee Bucks, so we look for the highest volume shooter we can find on the Chicago end.
That honor goes to Zach LaVine. LaVine certainly had the attempts in Game 1, shooting 10 times from deep, but unfortunately the makes did not accompany the volume, netting just two on the night.
The hope here is that the shots will remain, and he'll put in a few more. LaVine suited up for two games against the Bucks in the regular season, making 3+ threes in both instances.
He should get plenty of chances in this one.
Good luck tonight in the NBA!
