NBA Shooting Legend Reggie Miller Had No Words After Big Career News

The dust has barely settled on the New York Knicks' incredible series win over the Boston Celtics, but already, fans are looking forward to what's next for this championship-seeking side.

The Knicks eliminated the Celtics on Friday night with a 119-81 blowout win in Game 6 to secure a 4-2 series victory. They have now booked their spot in the Eastern Conference Finals, where they will face Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers.

All eyes will be on Madison Square Garden on Wednesday for Game 1 as these two teams start a new chapter in their age-old rivalry.

NBA on TNT will provide coverage for that highly anticipated series in what will be the network's final series, as their NBA TV rights expire at the end of the season.

A compelling storyline that is worth keeping an eye on involves NBA shooting legend Reggie Miller, who will be on the call for the East Finals.

Miller spent his entire 18-year playing career in Indiana and is widely regarded as one of, if not the greatest, player in Pacers franchise history. It just so happens that the Knicks were one of his biggest rivals back in the day, which is why it's only fitting that his final TNT broadcast is going to be for a Knicks-Pacers series.

This was exactly what was on Miller's mind on Friday night. The Hall of Famer shared a post on Instagram about his "fitting way to go out."

Miller did not add any caption, instead letting the post do all the talking. After all, the post does say it all, and there will be a lot of talking from Miller's end throughout the broadcast.

The Knicks are the higher seed in this upcoming series, and they will have home-court advantage. Game 1 on Wednesday will be in MSG, which means that Miller will be returning to a familiarly hostile environment in NYC.

He's been at the Mecca of basketball many times in the past, both as a player and a broadcaster, but this series marks his final trip to the Garden as part of TNT's crew.
