Charlotte Hornets standout LaMelo Ball is having another good season with his squad, confirming his partnership with Miles Bridges is a solid one, taking the Hornets to the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference.

Melo picked things right where he left them last year, continuing his good moment with the Hornets, aspiring to make it to the playoffs for the first time in his career. The youngest Ball brother keeps delighting fans with his displays every night, and it seems like he's achieved another milestone in his career.

After winning the 2021 Rookie of the Year, Ball is ready to compete for more things, and this year, he could become an All-Star. His flashy style of play, incredible passes and personality have placed Melo among the most entertaining players in the league.

He received plenty of votes from fans to participate in the 2022 All-Star Game, and his chances to be selected for the big game are more likely after an apparent mistake made by NBA TV. League Alerts shared a video from NBA TV showing a short video revealing that LaMelo earned his first All-Star Game call.

Melo was selected as part of the 2021 Rising Stars Challenge as a rookie. Unfortunately, the game wasn't played given the short schedule the NBA had for that weekend.

Now, Ball will have the chance to join not only sophomores and rookies, but he will also play with the big boys on the most important part of the weekend. Of course, this will happen if the leaked video is confirmed later by the league.

LaMelo currently averages 19.4 points per game, 7.3 rebounds per game, and 7.7 assists with the Hornets, shooting for 42.3% from the field and 36.0% from beyond the arc.
