The NBA has released the full 2025-26 regular season schedule, including national broadcast and streaming details for ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock and Prime Video.

The 80th NBA season tips off Tuesday, Oct. 21, when the defending champion Thunder host the Rockets in Kevin Durant’s return to Oklahoma City, followed by the Warriors visiting the Lakers in LeBron James’ record-setting 23rd season. Every national game will stream on major platforms, and the league says fans will be able to connect directly to live games through the NBA App, NBA.com, team sites and partner platforms.

Who has what nights

NBC/Peacock will handle Monday and Tuesday games, plus opening night and all four matchups on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Prime Video gets Thursday and Friday doubleheaders throughout the year, exclusive coverage of the Play-In Tournament and all knockout-round NBA Cup games. ESPN and ABC will keep Wednesday doubleheaders, Saturday primetime, Sunday showcase games and the NBA Finals.

Key calendar points

  • NBA Cup group play runs Oct. 31–Nov. 28, with knockout games Dec. 9–16 in Las Vegas.

  • Christmas Day features five games, starting with Cavaliers at Knicks and ending with Timberwolves at Nuggets.

  • Rivals Week is Jan. 20–24, with 11 national games in five days.

  • The regular season wraps April 12, with all 30 teams in action on the same day.

Eighty of each team’s 82 games are already set. The final two will be determined by NBA Cup results. NBA TV’s schedule will be released later.

This year’s slate also brings a new digital feature. Fans browsing league or team platforms will be guided directly to live streams — part of the NBA’s effort to make national broadcasts and streaming more accessible, no matter which night of the week they’re played.
