Nets sign Alize Johnson to multiyear deal worth up to $4.1 million

The Brooklyn Nets have signed forward Alize Johnson to a multi-year deal worth up to $4.1 million, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Johnson received a pair of 10-day contracts from the Nets and flourished, averaging 7.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and one assist on 65.7% shooting in six appearances. His best performance came against the Utah Jazz on March 24, when he finished with 23 points, 15 rebounds, and two steals.

The 24-year-old had the opportunity to earn more money with another team but decided to stay in Brooklyn, Wojnarowski adds.

Johnson spent the last two seasons with the Indiana Pacers and also played three seasons in the G League for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants and Raptors 905.
