New York Knicks’ Dynamic Duo Leads Team To Summer League Win
Imagn Images

The New York Knicks notched their first win of the NBA Summer League earlier today. Great performances from MarJon Beauchamp and Tyler Kolek helped the Knicks defeat the Brooklyn Nets, 97-93. Kolek had 25 points with 4 assists and 4 steals. Beauchamp had 25 points with 5 rebounds and 2 steals. Will these players contribute to the New York Knicks during the 2025-26 regular season?

New York Knicks Season Outlook

After making the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time this century, the team shockingly fired Head Coach Tom Thibodeau. New York turned to veteran Head Coach Mike Brown to fill the void. Brown has a simple mandate with the team: Win an NBA title.

Following a great season, expectations will be sky-high at Madison Square Garden. New York will be led by the duo of Point Guard Jalen Brunson and Center Karl-Anthony Towns . New York also improved its bench this offseason. They signed Jordan Clarkson and Guerschon Yabusele.

Final Thoughts

In an Eastern Conference that is as wide open as it could be, the New York Knicks are the favorites to make it out of the conference. If Kolek and Beauchamp can keep playing this well in the Summer League, it may give the New York Knicks the shot in the arm they need to win their first title since 1973.
