The New York Knicks will face a tough test Wednesday night when they take on the Los Angeles Clippers.
New York holds the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference at 45-26, while the Clippers are 40-31 and the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference.
The Western Conference has been tight this season, as the Clippers sit a half-game behind the Golden State Warriors and hold the tiebreaker against the also 41-32 Minnesota Timberwolves.
Ahead of Wednesday's matchup, the Knicks assigned Pacôme Dadiet to the Westchester Knicks.

This is not a new occurrence, as Dadiet has been up-and-down between the New York and Westchester rosters pretty much all season.
The move allows the 2024 first-round pick to get minutes and develop his game in the G-League.
With the Westchester Knicks, he's averaged 13.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. With the NBA club, he averaged 1.7 points in 6.5 minutes per game.
This is an all-important game for the Knicks, as a win would make them just the fourth team in the NBA to have secured a playoff spot and guarantee they won't have to play in the NBA Play-In Tournament.
New York will attempt to do so without its star point guard Jalen Brunson.
However, the Knicks were without Brunson in Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks but still won by a comfortable 15 points.
Multiple players stepped up for the Knicks in his absence. OG Anunoby scored 35 points.
However, the attention was on Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart, who became the first Knicks teammates to ever record a triple-double in the same game.
Even with a secured playoff spot, the Knicks likely won't look to ease up much. While they'll give Brunson his time to recover, the rest of the team seems to be hitting its stride at the right time with the NBA Playoffs less than a month away.
