The New York Knicks are coming off of one of their most successful seasons after qualifying for the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since 2000. However, just like in 2000, they fell to the Indiana Pacers and just short of a berth in the NBA Finals.

The Knicks made a significant change shortly after the series, choosing to fire head coach Tom Thibodeau after five seasons. Their pursuit of a new head coach has been met with criticism from certain media members, who question whether it will change the culture of the Knicks.

The Knicks now go into the offseason with uncertainty. If they were willing to send Thibodeau packing, more sizable changes could lie ahead this summer, especially if it's championship or bust next season.

Following their exit from the playoffs, beloved role player Tyker Kolek to Instagram to make an announcement.

"One of my favorite things about New York is the bodegas on every corner," Kolek said. "Now they carry my go-to protein shake…"

Some of Kolek's Knicks teammates quickly took to the comment section, including guard Delon Wright and forward Mikal Bridges.

"My boy doing Ads," commented Wright.

"This is my fav video ever," added Bridges.

Kolek appeared in 41 games for the Knicks this season and averaged 7.2 minutes in those games. He averaged two points and 1.7 assists per game. He saw action in three playoff games, totaling seven minutes played, three points, one rebound, and three assists.

Kolek was selected No. 34 overall in the 2024 NBA Draft and signed a four-year contract with the Knicks worth $9,062,682.
