Nikola Jokic Cries Tears Of Joy After His Horse Wins A Major Race In Serbia

Some NBA fans also argued that he is celebrating a lot more than he did when the Nuggets won the 2023 title. They took to social media and pointed out the stark difference in his celebrations. 

"Nikola Jokic seems happier about his horse winning a race than when he won the NBA championship."

"Basketball is really a side gig for him. He’s just elite at it. He’s using it to fund his real passion for horse racing."

"Dude can’t wait to retire from his side gig that pays the bills and focus on his true love, he’s gonna retire the second his prime is done," said a fan hilariously in the context of the recent social media video where Jokic unintentionally blurted his retirement plans during a question about Yang Hansen.

Nobody is claiming Jokic was not happy when he won the championship; he was ecstatic. He jumped in the swimming pool with his team, flooded the locker room floors with champagne, and whatnot. But he did not seem as emotionally fulfilled as he does when his horse wins a race. 

Nikola Jokic's Agent Spotted With LeBron James, Rich Paul

While the former NBA Finals MVP went viral after this horse race in Serbia, just a few hours before that, his agent was spotted on a boat with LeBron James and his agent, Rich Paul, in Saint Tropez, France. Misko Raznatovic, the Serbian agent, posted a picture with LeBron James and his crew, and the caption hinted that something's brewing on their end. 

"The summer of 2025 is the perfect time to make big plans for the fall of 2026!" he wrote in the caption.

Since LeBron James is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the NBA next summer, it is predicted that by the end of fall 2026, James will have decided if he's playing elsewhere in the NBA for another season or if he is retiring.
