Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic has had reasons to smile lately. Jokic saw the Nuggets emerge as one of the winners of the NBA offseason as they look to return to the top of the mountain following two straight exits in the Western Conference semifinals.

The Nuggets acquired Cam Johnson and Jonas Valanciunas via trades and signed Bruce Brown Jr. and Tim Hardaway Jr. in free agency. NBA insider Brian Windhorst reported on the "Hoop Collective" podcast that Jokic is very pleased with the front office's moves and understandably so.

When Jokic isn't dominating on the basketball court, he tends to spend his free time obsessing over horses. The Serbian's love for horse racing is well-documented, and with that in mind, he was gifted a unique present while on tour in China. Jokic was given a horse head made out of his shoes and had a priceless reaction to the gift.

This was just about the perfect present you could give Jokic. The 30-year-old kept mentioning just how amazing it was, and it's not often that you see him in such high spirits.

While Jokic appears quite content on and off the court at the moment, he recently inform the Nuggets that he won't sign an extension this offseason. There is no need to ring the alarm bells, however, as he has only done so because he'll be eligible to get paid more in a year.

Jokic is eligible for a three-year, $212 million extension this offseason but can sign a four-year deal worth about $293 million in 2026.
