The Denver Nuggets were able to outlast the Houston Rockets in overtime 128-125.
Nikola Jokic led the way for Denver putting up a triple-double of 39 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists building on his MVP campaign.
Meanwhile, Alperen Sengun had a triple-double of his own putting up 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
Sengun’s rise with the Rockets has been remarkable. The 23-year-old looks like a future superstar for Houston and his game always seems to draw comparisons to Jokic’s game.

Sengun has been called ‘Baby Jokic’ throughout his career for how he resembles Jokic on the court and impacts the game in so many different ways.
However, Jokic doesn’t like the fact that people compare Sengun to him. He commented on Sengun’s ‘Baby Jokic’ nickname.
“People need to stop comparing us. He’s an amazing player by himself.
“He needs to be recognized by who he is. He’s definitely a talented player. He needs to be recognized as Alperen Sengun.”
The matchup between the Nuggets and Rockets was epic, but there was a lot made about the officiating.

Refereeing aside, fans were treated to a thrilling contest between two contenders in the Western Conference.
Jokic (39 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists) and Sengun (33 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) also made NBA history by combining to be the first two centers to have triple-doubles in the same game.
