Nikola Jokic’s brothers, Nemanja and Strahinja, have built a tough-guy reputation in the league, despite only sitting on the sidelines during the Denver Nuggets star’s games. They are always there for their younger brother and are ready to escalate situations when necessary.

One of them, however, is hard to contain, and it showed during the team’s close win against the San Antonio Spurs.

The two Western Conference teams figured in a close battle on Saturday, with the Nuggets winning in overtime, 136–134. Victor Wembanyama and company made Jokic’s life difficult, to the point that he had to deliver his best scoring performance since Dec. 25, when he scored 56 points.

The three-time MVP scored 40 points—the first time he reached that mark in three months. He also recorded 13 assists and eight rebounds.

Jokic was hot all game long down to the final possession, and on the sideline, his brother Strahinja was also visibly agitated.

A video of the older Jokic confronting Spurs personnel is making the rounds online. The post claimed he was upset by the cheers he heard when his brother was fouled by opponents.

People on the comment section thought it was uncalled for.

"If Ja had brothers acting like this in the arena, what would the story be?," one user wrote.

"Why they not banned yet??," said another.

Another user thought the brother is walking time bomb.

"At this this point they’re just a liability. I’m ready to sue. Finding seats next to them for the next game."

This is not the first time the Jokic brothers have been involved in a courtside ruckus. They were filmed in 2024 punching a fan during a playoff game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Nuggets. Strahinja pleaded guilty to third-degree assault a year later.

Strahinja has also had legal troubles outside of Nuggets games. He was charged in 2019 for false imprisonment, second-degree assault, and obstruction of phone service involving an unnamed woman.
