The Mavericks are slated to play 12 back-to-backs this season, just slightly down from the 13 they played in the abbreviated 2020-2021 season.
The team’s longest homestand of the season will be six games from February 2nd through February 12th against the following opponents: the Thunder, 76ers, Hawks, Pistons and Clippers (2x). There are two “off” days prior to the start of the homestand and two “off” days after the final game on the 12th, so the Mavericks will be able to sleep in their own beds for about two weeks. A very rare occurrence in an NBA season.
The All-Star Break is from February 18th through February 24th. Dallas heads into the break with two road games against the Miami Heat and New Orleans Pelicans and then kicks off the second half of the season with a very road stretch against the Jazz, Warriors and Lakers.
Games against opponents that finished the 20-21 season with a winning record by month:
October – 3 (out of 6 games)
November – 7 (out of 13 games)
December – 7 (out of 16 games)
January – 8 (out of 16 games)
February – 7 (out of 10 games)
March – 9 (out of 16 games)
April – 2 (out of 5 games)
Mavs PR stated that individual game tickets will go on sale on Friday, August 27th at 10 AM on mavs.com or by calling 214-747-MAVS.
