The Denver Nuggets will look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead over the Los Angeles Clippers at home on Monday night.
Denver pulled out a hard-fought overtime victory in Game 1 on Saturday thanks to their superstar center Nikola Jokic along with some timely plays by veteran guard Russell Westbrook.
They will now look to keep things rolling in Game 2 on Monday as they look to put the pressure on the Clippers by taking a 2-0 lead before traveling to Los Angeles for Game 3 and 4.
Ahead of Monday’s game, the Nuggets made a massive announcement regarding the availability of their starting forward Aaron Gordon.
Denver announced that Gordon is available for Game 2 on Monday despite being listed on the injury report as probable.

Of course, Gordon was listed as probable heading into Monday’s contest due to right calf injury management as the Nuggets continue to be cautious with a calf injury that he has dealt with for much of the season.
This is massive news for the Nuggets as Gordon played a key role in their victory in Game 1 and has also been a major contributor to their success this season.
In Game 1 on Saturday, the 29-year-old forward recorded 25 points and eight rebounds, playing a major role in Denver grabbing a 1-0 series lead.
Gordon will now look to continue to play a key role for the Nuggets on the defensive side of the ball and also offensively, where he has shown a ton of improvement this season.
While Gordon is available for Monday’s game, his injury is a storyline that could have a massive impact on the series, especially if he ends up missing time later on.
Despite that, the Nuggets should be thrilled that Gordon is good to go for Monday’s game as they look to take a commanding lead in the series.
Fans can catch Monday’s Game 2 matchup between the Clippers and Nuggets at 10:00 p.m. EST on TNT.
