The Denver Nuggets enter Saturday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a 9-2 record. They are riding a six-game winning streak and are only behind the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference standings.
Prior to the showdown, however, there were plenty of concerns about Nikola Jokic's status for the game. In the injury report, the Serbian big man was listed as "Questionable" due to a left wrist sprain.
Jokic is averaging a triple-double of 28.8 points, 13.1 rebounds and 10.9 assists, along with 1.8 steals. His potential absence, therefore, would be a big blow to a Nuggets team that revolves around him.
That led to many people asking whether or not Jokic will be playing against the Timberwolves.
The three-time NBA MVP has been officially upgraded to available for the Timberwolves game.
For what it's worth, Nuggets head coach David Adelman told reporters before the showdown with the Timberwolves that he "thinks he will play," per Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic.

The Nuggets are already missing role players Christian Braun (ankle sprain) and Cameron Johnson (biceps strain) due to injuries as well, while both DaRon Holmes II and two-way contract player Tamar Bates are in the G League. Because of this, Jokic's presence is definitely needed as they look to extend their winning streak.
Not to mention, the Timberwolves are one of the toughest teams in the NBA. They have the size to match up with the Nuggets, and they have a superstar guard in Anthony Edwards who can do a lot of damage to any defense.
Minnesota is also on a four-game winning streak, so Denver couldn't really afford to be without their best player.
