Not too long ago, Thunder fans wondered if they'd ever be blessed with a young Big 3 as potent as Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden.
Their prayers have been more than answered in the form of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (26), Jalen Williams (24) and Chet Holmgren (23).
In Monday's Game 4 win over the Timberwolves, the three emerging stars combined for 95 points, the most by a Thunder trio in a playoff game since the franchise relocated from Seattle in 2008, per ESPN Research. This feat even eluded Durant, Harden and Westbrook, three future NBA MVPs, during their run to the 2012 NBA Finals.
Through 15 playoff games thus far, Williams has produced eight 20-point games, Holmgren four and SGA 12. The trio is now tied for the most 20-point playoff games in franchise history.

All three played critical roles in helping the Thunder take a commanding 3-1 series lead over the Timberwolves. Williams played lockdown on-ball defense on Anthony Edwards, limiting the Timberwolves star to just 16 points while dropping a playoff career-high 34 points on the other end.
Defensive ace Holmgren did a number on Julius Randle (1-of-7 shooting) and scored 21 points on 64 percent shooting. But his real impact was felt on the glass as he grabbed four offensive rebounds, giving his team several extra possessions in a nip-and-tuck contest. His dominance in the paint allowed OKC to out-rebound Minnesota, 41-36, which proved vital in a game that went down to the wire.
As for SGA, the MVP was his consistent self, getting to his midrange spots and making shots whenever his team needed him. He tallied a playoff career-high 40 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds, producing arguably the best postseason game of his young career.
It's an ominous sign for the rest of the NBA that SGA, Williams and Holmgren are hitting their stride under the brightest of lights. If history has taught us anything, players gain confidence after a successful postseason run under their belt. The Thunder threaten to be a better team a year from now, and possibly even better a year later.
