Oklahoma City Thunder Sign 2 New Players
USA TODAY Sports

The Oklahoma City Thunder have gone 2-2 in their first four preseason games and are coming off a 124-101 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday evening.

With the preseason almost over, teams around the league have been making a lot of roster moves.

On Wednesday, the Thunder signed K.J. Williams and Hunter Maldonado.

Via Rylan Stiles of Thunderous Intentions: "The Thunder signing (and expectedly eventually cutting) Hunter Maldonado and KJ Williams is just go gain their G League rights. OKC finally has the wiggle room to get these training camp deals in after spending the offseason with the 21 player maximum."

Williams went undrafted this summer after playing five seasons of college basketball (four for Murray State and one for LSU).

This past year (for LSU), he averaged 17.7 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 49.0% from the field and 41.1% from the three-point range in 33 games.

Maldonado also went undrafted in June and played six seasons of college basketball for Wyoming.

This past year, he averaged 15.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 48.1% from the field in 29 games.

As for the Thunder, they will play their first game of the regular season on October 25 when they visit the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.

Last year, they were the tenth seed in the Western Conference with a 40-42 record.

They beat the New Orleans Pelicans in the first play-in tournament game but lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
