Orlando Magic Duo Noah Penda and Goga Bitadze Turn Heads With Wild Handshake

There’s no denying that the Orlando Magic are pumped up ahead of their game four against the Detroit Pistons due to being up in their series. And Goga Bitadze and Noah Penda are having too much fun with their handshake before taking on the floor.

While there are times when Bitadze’s on-court behavior has been questioned, he’s undoubtedly making his mark for Orlando this season. And the postseason is no different. He’s played the solid backup role for Wendell Carter Jr. in limited minutes.

However, it’s not his game that has caught fans’ attention. It’s Goga Bitadze’s pregame weird handshake with teammate Noah Penda, which was captured by tunnel cameras.

While there’s mostly nothing wrong with the ritual, the last part was kind of questionable. Chopping and sniffing an invisible stuff? That’s weird. And most adults certainly know what that means because it’s been depicted all over the news and multiple movies.

Orlando Magic Take a Commanding 3-1 Series Lead Over Detroit Pistons

Before the Pistons-Magic series started, most media outlets gave Detroit a clear advantage to advance. But the opposite happened because the eighth-seeded Orlando Magic now holds a commanding 3-1 lead against the top-seeded Detroit Pistons in their first-round series.

Orlando has matched Detroit’s physicality and has limited Jalen Duren’s production, all thanks to Wendell Carter Jr. and Goga Bitadze’s defense. The Magic frontcourt has posed problems in the paint, a problem the Pistons haven’t yet solved.

And of course, that’s not the only news of this series. There’s also the subtle love triangle among Wendell Carter Jr., Angel Reese, and Jalen Duren. While most fans tune in to the bigger-market teams, they should not look past the Pistons-Magic series. Most games have been physical, akin to how the game was played in the 1990s.
